Accountability Coaching

One-to-one coaching to help you reach your goals

You already know what you want to do. The hard part is doing it.

Not once, in a burst of motivation.

Not perfectly, with every box ticked.

But steadily, week after week, even when life gets in the way.

That’s where accountability comes in. You don’t have to do it on your own.

Accountability Coaching is for you if:

  • You know what you want to do but it keeps falling off the list.

  • You look organised from the outside, but you're juggling a backlog that never seems to get smaller.

  • You've tried apps, planners, and asking friends to keep you on track but it hasn't stuck.

  • You're tired of the "I didn't get it all done, so I've failed" shame spiral.

How it works

The Accountability Lab is a series of personal one-to-one coaching sessions held online.

What you'll walk away with:

- Real progress on a goal that’s been sitting on your list.

- A weekly rhythm that keeps you moving without taking over your week.

- A way to recalibrate when life gets in the way, rather than giving up.

- A clearer understanding of the patterns that trip you up, and what to do about them.

- More confidence in your ability to set realistic goals and stick with them.

Coaching with Marilynne

I was struggling to set even small goals and found myself in a state of overwhelm, even when I had the time and space to get things done. Being late-diagnosed with ADHD, I also had a lot of shame and self-doubt about my capacity to achieve goals and get things done that came decades of being mislabelled as disorganised or incapable.

Marilynne helped breakdown the process of goal-setting so that it didn't feel overwhelming, from brainstorming what it is I wanted to achieve, to coming up with a realistic plan on how to achieve it. Her weekly check-ins were brief enough not to feel like an additional time-pressure but were full of little nuggets of wisdom: little 'aha' moments that helped me practice the skill of working towards goals within my capacity. There was never any sense of guilt or obligation, only warm encouragement and big smiles.

I feel more confident now about my ability to set realistic goals, and to adjust them as life happens around them. I have gained insight into some of the bad habits that were getting in the way of maintaining goals and have new practices now that really help me 'get things done'.

I would recommend Marilynne's coaching to anyone with late-diagnosed ADHD who is just working out how to take control of their lives and needs some help putting it into practice. Even if the goals themselves are quite small, it is the ongoing habits that are built up over the sessions and the small corrections along the way that make the long-term difference.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does it work?

It’s 10 weeks, all online. We start with a 90-minute kick-off to get clear on your goal and build your plan. Then you have short 15-minute check-ins most weeks, a 60-minute review at the halfway point, and a 30-minute close in week 10. You’ll also get a mid-week email check-in each week, session summaries, and email support between sessions.

Why are the check-ins only 15 minutes?

Because the work happens between sessions, not in them. Short check-ins keep you accountable without becoming another thing on your to-do list.

What happens if I don't do what I said I'd do?

Nothing bad. There's no judgement or shame here. We look at what got in the way, recalibrate, and work out what's realistic for the week ahead. That's part of the process, not a failure of it.

Do I need to have ADHD?

No. The Accountability Lab works for anyone who struggles with follow through. It's also designed with ADHD in mind, so if that's part of your story, you won't need to explain yourself.

What if I don't know what my goal is?

Start with Clarity Coaching. The Accountability Lab works best when you know what you are working towards.

What happens after the 10 weeks?

Past clients can book a 4-week short burst whenever they'd like a top-up. Ongoing accountability is also an option.

Ready to reach your goals?

Taking the first step into coaching is often the hardest, especially with someone you haven't met yet.

That's why I offer a 30-minute conversation to look at where you are now, where you want to be, and what working together would look like.
